I have a great passion for technology. It has vastly increased what an individual can accomplish both solitarily and in teams. Indeed, the way we live our lives, communicate with one another, and express ourselves has dramatically altered our entire experience in life. Hence, I spend as much time as I can learning about all aspects of the tools we have and how we can use them more effectively. I have outlined these subsections below with emphasis on web design, work on hardware and electronics, and network administration. These subsections contain more detailed information about my job experiences and development in the realms of web design and new technology systems.

WEB DESIGN / GRAPHIC DESIGN :: THIS SUB-SECTION IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION ::
I designed my first website for a joint military command in 2000. Today I have over nine years of diverse business, graphic design, and web site development experience. I have hands on experience with: Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, Particle Illusion, Swish, Photoshop, Illustrator, Gif Movie Gear, Paintshop, Perl, PHP, Javascript, ASP.NET, VBScript, DHTML, FrontPage, MSQuery, SQL, FTP, Lightwave, Bryce, Focus, XHTML/CSS web standards, Application GUIs, cross-browser compatibility, Windows 95/98/NT/XP/Vista, OSX, UNIX, Microsoft Office Suite, software installation, SQL and Access database design, and data conversion just to name a few. Examples of my work and further details can be found by clicking on this link.

HARDWARE (ELECTRONIC REPAIR AND SYSTEMS MAINTAINANCE)
I am a highly talented Computer Repairer with a great deal of experience in performing skilled work in the installation, maintenance and repair of microcomputer equipment, networks and peripherals to enhance the quality of established curriculum and prevent service interruption of equipment. I have additional experience in the repair and theory of radio, fiber optic, and other types of communications equipment. I have been formerly trained in micro circuitry repair as well. I have developed a in-depth knowledge of appropriate safety precautions and procedures, knowledge of tools, equipment, practices and methods of installing, cleaning, adjusting and repairing microcomputers, terminals, peripherals and related equipment, and an exceptional ability to maintain records. My experiences and qualifications in these disciplines are detailed further here.

 SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION
Though I have yet to achieve the level of "Administrative Guru," I have some good experience in systems administration that bares mention as well because it is an area in which I am currently focusing a lot of study. The areas of Unix systems and network administration were where I first began my study in 1997. I have since gained experience with multiple UNIX-based operating systems with an emphasis FreeBSD web servers and OpenBSD firewalls, though my formal training was in Solaris and Cisco networking hardware, network design and unix backups. Auxiliary administrative work at Colorado State Universities many computer labs and campus services gave me experience with high traffic networking and Windows Server based administration including various load balancing technologies. I am eager to learn new concepts and systems and generally do so quickly. I am receptive to new ideas. I work well alone or in a group and also have experience managing groups. The specifics of my experiences and goals are detailed here.
